I think that we are all in agreeance that 2016 was a pretty rough one, for the books. However, the silver lining that came out of the last calendar year was something sweet; a full on sugar crazed donut frenzy that sent Providence locals in search of the perfect donut to get their sweet tooth to stop nagging them.
And just like that, voila, KNEAD DONUTS opened their doors in December of 2016. These delectable treats are housed in downtown providence, in the building previously belonging to the Custom House. The space is young and inviting; tall ceilings, and lots of natural light. A warm and welcoming spot to sit your buns down and dive head first into a box of goodies.

And as for the donuts themselves? They have you MMM’ing with your eyes closed at the first bite. When it comes to donuts, texture is key. And KNEAD surely has it down pact tight. The jelly filled had me reminiscing on dough boys, but even better because this guy was filled with sweet and fruity jam.
But what really gets me, is their flavors. The plethora of colors and tastes found across the donut rack ranges from regular glazed, to brown butter toffee, and skipping along to spiced pear fritter. Classic donuts that meet and breed with gourmet tastes.

Personally, we went with the vanilla glazed, the jelly filled, and the peanut butter and jelly, to get a taste of a traditional and of  new school. And WOO-WEE, we likey. Personally, I am a peanut butter fanatic, so this chunky pb glazed donut was like that simple but awesome after school snack, except on a perfectly soft and sweet round of fried goodness.

And if you're intimidated by venturing into downtown because parking sucks, leave your reservations at home, because KNEAD offers free parking in the adjacent lot from 8am-3pm daily. No need to struggle to parallel park. Simply pull up, and enjoy. Victory!
Get your buns walkin’, and get a nice bite (or two) of these donuts.

I love their advertising photos! But what I love more is to taste that knead doughnuts that they are offering! I wonder how many flavors you have? I just like cream and chocolate filled doughnuts. I do not like the ones that are too fruity. I once tasted a strawberry filled doughnut but the filling is not a jam. It's a strawberry cream! So, I really liked it! But if i were to choose, I would still really the simple sugar glazed doughnut. It brings back good memories for me.

n interesting discussion is worth comment. I think that you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers
